Window and Door Installation Foreman

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision:
  • Lead and manage a team of window and door installers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that each team member understands their responsibilities.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Project Management:
  • Plan and schedule window and door installation projects, taking into account factors such as materials, manpower, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Manage waste disposal in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that window and door installations meets industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and address any deficiencies.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety among team members.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses, and implement preventive measures.
  • Customer Relations:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns they may have about the window or door installation process.
  • Provide updates on project progress and ensure that clients are satisfied with the work performed.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Keep accurate records of project activities, including work hours, materials used, and any changes or deviations from the original plan.
  • Generate reports as required by management, detailing project status, milestones achieved, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in window and door installation or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Window and Door Installation: 2 years (preferred)
